have been interested in. Recently I have have been thinking the originality of a character. It really is hard to draw something original that really stands out. Especially if you are trying to design something for yourself. Just thinking here. I have lots of drawings that I am not happy about.
Cleaning the gallery...
Some things are just better to forget and it´s time to create something new!

I have been going through a lot of 3d stuff recently. I have to say that human skin drives me crazy!
I have had a lot of job opportunities
work for free I mean! :) I think most of the cases it´s just better to say no.
Oliver and company
I just recently watched the making of Oliver & company. I never actually realized that they used CGI on that movie for that scooter and it was made in 1988. That effect was nicely blended into that movie.

Yes, i agree, it's hard. I don't know,... but i think maybe the right first step for creating a new character should be creating it's story, for that should tell us everything about how it looks like. But doing a story for every character we make...
Anyway, I think you're doing it really great because you have characters with a great variety of facial features, body types, different ages. And your work with expressions is great as well. Have you tried taking a character from a book (one that hasn't been made into a movie) and tried to draw it?
